How to open a demo from Nigeria

Demo vs live - honest limits

Demo spreads and fills are close, not identical. Live emotions and slippage differ. Treat demo as process training, not as proof you will profit. After funding, follow first week.

Two-week practice plan (WAT)

Pick one liquid pair and one session block. For many Nigeria desks that means London open into the US overlap - see the WAT map. Confirmed July 2026 framing: demo is for process, not for a fake equity curve you screenshot for friends.

1. Days 1-3: only market and pending orders. Log time, pair, spread at entry, and whether you followed the written exit.
2. Days 4-7: add a hard stop on every ticket. Skip the first major US data print if you still flinch.
3. Days 8-14: compare Standard vs Raw+ all-in on the same setup using the spreads page. Keep one platform.
4. Graduation rule: 20 clean fills with the same exit rule, no revenge tickets after a loss. Then open account.

• If you want short holds, read scalping before you shrink the hold time.
• If salary hits this week, shrink size on demo too - habits transfer.
• Demo balance is fake. Do not "prove" a method with oversized lots you would never fund live.
